Regular Visits at Hughes Chiropractic

We want you to be Relaxed

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

When you come into the reception area, you'll be greeted by a 'hello' and some quiet music. Please have a seat after you've looked at some of the reading materials available. We strive to create a relaxed space where you can sit quietly or read. We ask that all cell phones or PDA's be turned off for the time you are with us.

Preparing for your Chiropractic Treatment

When the doctor is ready to see you Heather or Linda will escort you to the appropriate treatment room. She will place you on the treatment table and use a muscle massage machine on your back and neck; this helps to relieve tired muscles and prepares you for the chiropractic adjustment.

Your Adjustment

I'll join you shortly; we'll talk about your response to the treatments you've received; I'll do some muscle massage and palpation (feeling the involved area(s) using my hands and fingers) followed by the adjustment itself. I'll help you off the treatment table and hand you your chart for you to bring to the front desk.

Heather, Judy or Linda will collect any co- payment, if one is due. They will confirm the day and time of your next appointment. A good-bye remark and "take care" are yours to take as you leave...until your next visit.

If you think that you or a loved one is a good candidate for chiropractic care, contact Hughes Chiropractic to arrange a thorough examination in our practice.

Dr. Hughes Asks some important questions of interest to Millbury residents - Chiropractor Millbury Dr. Hughes Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
